In this course, you’ll confront a situation all too familiar to many Anglo-Saxons: the urgent need to understand Old Norse. But, luckily for you, we have a course that will have you ready for the Danelaw in no time. Join us to get an introduction to the Old Norse language by reading Þorsteins þáttr stangarhǫggs “The tale of Thorsteinn Staffstruck” with explanations in Old English.
Note: this course is conducted in Old English. Prerequisite: E202 or equivalent.
