As we put the finishing touches on your introduction to the more complex topics of Greek grammar, we will continue to read level-appropriate primary source texts from the Ancient Greek corpus. We will also finish reading about the adventures of Thrasymachus in his journey through the underworld. Using our custom-built materials, students will continue to internalize Ancient Greek in a way that prepares them to understand primary sources from across the range of the Ancient Greek corpus: archaic, classical and Koine. In addition to lots of new Ancient Greek vocabulary, this course will cover the perfect and pluperfect tenses in the subjunctive and optative moods, conditionals, and the dual.
