Timeless Stories in Ancient Languages

Join Ōsweald the talking bear on his adventures through Anglo-Saxon England, as he makes friends (and enemies), gets involved in royal intrigue, and learns all about the world. This book will teach you all the main points of Old English grammar and a large portion of its most essential vocabulary. But it will teach you these things in a rather strange way: simply by telling a story.

David et Goliath

The Illustrated Vulgate

Read the classic tale of how the shepherd boy David defeats the mighty Philistine with five smooth stones (quīnque limpidissimī lapidēs) from the Vulgate. This picture book contains the entirety of I Samuel 17, accompanied by over 25 original color illustrations from the Swedish illustrator Sander Berg. The Latin text is taken from the Clementine Vulgate and has been fully macronized.

David et Goliath: The Illustrated Vulgate is coming Spring 2025!
