In this new course, students will spend considerable time mastering the Latin tense system, while continuing the thrilling story of Iter Alexandri and proceed to read 160 pages of Latin while also studying the gerunds, gerundives, future infinitives and participles, and much more! Students taking this course should have already completed the Picta Dicta Latin Grammar 4, Lessons 1-14 curriculum or equivalent, such as Chapters 1-21 of LLPSI: Familia Romana, and thus already be comfortable reading simple Latin narratives, and familiar with the following grammatical concepts: all five declensions, all forms of adjectives, present tense indicative mood verbs in the active active and passive, imperatives, infinitives, participles, pronouns, demonstratives, and the following tenses in both the active and passive voice in the indicative mood: imperfect, future, and perfect.
