In this new course, students will review noun cases and the present tense verb system, and proceed to read 150 pages of Latin while also studying the tenses of the indicative mood, relative clauses, and much more. Students taking this course should have already completed the Picta Dicta “Latin Grammar 3” curriculum or equivalent, such as Chapters 1-18 of LLPSI: Familia Romana, and thus already be comfortable reading simple Latin narratives, and familiar with the following grammatical concepts: all five declensions, all forms of adjectives, present tense indicative mood verbs in the active active and passive, imperatives, infinitives, participles, pronouns, and demonstratives.
